What Are You Doing This Weekend?

Another weekend in the Corridor, and there's plenty of theatre to choose from! Here's a rundown...

@ICCT

ICCT closes its run of House of Wonders, a comedy by Kate Aspengren. A biographer is suffering from crippling writer's block, and she decides she simply must interview her subject... even though that requires a ouija board.

@City Circle

City Circle is also closing a show: Thorton Wilder's timeless classic Our Town. The Pulitzer Prize-winning drama tells the story of Grover's Corners.

@TCR

Right up the road in Cedar Rapids, TCR is bringing down the house with the last weekend of The Wedding Singer, a musical comedy based on the 1998 film of the same name.

@Riverside

Opening this weekend at Riverside theatre is A Steady Rain by Keith Huff. The thrilling drama explores the relationship of two Chicago cops.

@CROT

Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre combines food and music in a presentation of two one-act operas (Bon Appetit and Face on the Barroom Floor). The show features a presentation by NPR's Lynne Rossetto Kasper and a chocolate and wine reception.
