Old Creamery Adds Winnie the Pooh Performance

Amana – Due to overwhelming demand, The Old Creamery Theatre for Young Audiences will add a performance of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.

This is in addition to the regularly scheduled shows at 11 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 8 and 15, and Tuesday, Dec. 4 and Thursday Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. Some of those dates are already sold out, so please call ahead. A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail opened Nov. 24 and runs through Dec. 15. Tickets are $8 per person and all seating is reserved.

Director Sean McCall says the cast is pleased to perform this additional show. "We never like to turn anyone away," he said. "Last season we extended Charlotte’s Web as well. We’re always excited to see so many young fans and we promise to make the trip out to see us worth the effort!"

The cast consists of Jeff Haffner of Cleveland, Ohio; Ian Zahren of South Amana; Elizabeth Higbee of Tonganoxie, Kansas; Nicholas Hodge of South Amana, T.J. Besler of Manchester, Kaitlyn Skaggs of Cedar Rapids, Jackie McCall of Marengo and Eddie Skaggs of Cedar Rapids.

A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail is based on the stories by A. A. Milne with book, music and lyrics by James W. Rodgers.
