Shrek Auditions

Coralville - City Circle Acting Company of Coralville is pleased to announce auditions for its annual musical starring local junior and senior high students. This year's production is Shrek The Musical.

Auditions will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 10:00 - 4:00 at the Nolte Academy, 1619 2nd Street, Coralville, Iowa.

Based on the now-classic movie of the same name, and featuring a score by Jeanine Tesori ("Thoroughly Modern Millie") and book by David Lindsay-Abaire ("Rabbit Hole", "Good People"), Shrek features roles for 25 - 30 actors playing a wide variety of characters.

Any performer who is currently in 6th grade - 12th grade from any area school may audition.

Please bring 30 seconds of a song to sing that shows off your voice and acting ability.

Sheet music is preferred, but CD / mp3 accompaniment is acceptable.

Please also bring an accurate list of all evening and weekend conflicts from April 15 - June 16, 2013.

Call-back dance auditions will be Monday, April 1 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Shrek the Musical will be performed June 14 - 16, 2013 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.
