The Corridor Sings Broadway on April 19

Coralville - "Performers from across Iowa’s Creative Corridor will perform in a special one-night-only event, The Corridor Sings Broadway, on Friday, April 19 at 7:30pm. The performance is directed by Christopher Okiishi of City Circle Acting Company of Coralville, who will also serve as emcee. Proceeds from the evening benefit City Circle and the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.

Performers include:
· Three-time Broadway Star Kristen Behrendt DeGrazia
· American Idol Hollywood Finalist Alisabeth Von Presley
· Patrick Du Laney
· Carrie Houchins-Witt
· Dawn Clark
· The Cast of Iowa City Community Theatre’s Oklahoma including:
          o Megan Keiser
          o Dave Helmuth
          o Joe Mosher
· The Cast of City Circle Acting Company of Coralville's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum including:
          o Chris Carpenter
          o Steve Rosse
          o Robyn Calhoun
          o Luis Sierra
          o Kevin Burford
· The Cougar Chorale under the direction of Richard Tiegs

The performance will feature both beloved Broadway hits and hidden gems in a series of solos, duets, and group numbers. A silent auction with prizes donated by local businesses will be held before the show and during intermission. There is also a raffle with the grand prize of a theater weekend for two in Chicago, including hotel, two meals, and tickets to both a Broadway-style event and an off-loop performance.
