I'm All Ears

Old Creamery - The music of Disney comes to life August 6 when The Old Creamery Theatre Company opens I’m All Ears: Songs of Disney, at 3 p.m. on the main stage in Amana. With over 60 years of music to choose from, this celebration of the best of Disney’s music is sure to be a hit with all age groups.

From old favorites such as “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah,” from the 1946 Disney production Song of the South; “Whistle While You Work,” from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; and “When You Wish Upon A Star,” from Pinocchio; to newer classics like “Be Our Guest,” from Beauty and the Beast; and “Under the Sea,” from The Little Mermaid, I’m All Ears will keep the audience humming along from the first song to the last.

The cast includes Old Creamery favorites, Sean McCall and Deborah Kennedy, along with TJ Besler of Manchester, Jeff Haffner, of Cleveland, Ohio; Amber Snyder of Memphis, Tenn.; and Molly Laurel of Whittier, Calif. Under the musical direction of Paul Dieke, I’m All Ears: Songs of Disney, is a true family event.

During the run of I’m All Ears: Songs of Disney, The Old Creamery Theatre will be collecting school supplies to donate to area schools for children in need. Patrons who bring back-to-school items will receive a discount coupon for $5 off one adult ticket to an upcoming Old Creamery production.

The show runs through August 30 and is rated G. Tickets are $26.50 for adults and $17.50 for those under age 30. Tickets for I’m All Ears: Songs of Disney are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the box office at 800-35-AMANA or 319-622-6194. Show times are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

The Old Creamery Theatre Company is a not-for-profit professional theatre founded in 1971 in Garrison, Iowa. The company is celebrating 38 years of bringing live, professional theatre to the people of Iowa and the Midwest.
