Dreamwell announces auditons for Henry V

Iowa City - Dreamwell Theatre announces auditions for Henry the Fifth, William Shakespeare’s deepest exploration of war. Angie Toomsen directs. Performances will be 2–3 weekends in June (actual weekends to be finalized). This marks the first time Dreamwell has ventured into the realm of Shakespeare.

WHEN: Tuesday, February 22, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, February 23, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Yes, roles will likely be doubled. No, it will not at the Riverside Stage. The dates are the first few weekends of June, depending on the space.

The Riverside Shakespeare Festival is done by Riverside Theatre. This show, Henry V, will be produced by Dreamwell. They are two different theatre companies.

The Riverside Shakespeare festival this year will consist of Two Gentleman of Verona and Ah Wilderness!, which of course, is not actually by Shakespeare.

Riverside is also producing All My Sons, but not as part of the festival. It opens next week at their downtown location.
