A Second Helping Opens July 26

Amana - The Church Basement Ladies are coming back for more! A Second Helping: The Church Basement Ladies Sequel opens Thursday, July 26 at the Old Creamery Theatre.

A Second Helping is a musical comedy set in a rural Minnesotan church basement kitchen during the late 1960s. Written by Greta Gorsch with music and lyrics by Dennis Curley and Drew Jansen, it is based on Growing Up Lutheran and related books by Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson. Curt Wollen directs, with musical direction by Becky Barrett-Jones.

A Second Helping runs July 26 through September 2, 3:00 Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, 7:30 Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are $27 ($17.50 for students). Student rush tickets (if available), are $12 with a student ID, starting half an hour before a performance.
