Summer Magic at the County Fair

Iowa City - SUMMER MAGIC AT THE COUNTY FAIR, July 26 and 27 at 6:30 pm

Combined Efforts Theatre presents its fourth annual County Fair play, Summer Magic at the County Fair. Morris Hawkins, snake oil salesman appears at the fair with an elixir to sell. Is it really magic or is there something else giving folks confidence, courage, talent, and, yes, romance?

Join the mayor, the Rungling Brothers, a lion tamer, tightrope walkers, equestrians, a sharp shooter, clowns, a fortune teller, retired burlesque dancers, a boxer and many more.

There are exhibits to see and prizes to win.

This is a peregrination in the outdoors, so come prepared to enjoy a couple of short, easy walks. Chairs are provided, or you may bring your own. Wheelchairs welcome.

Combined Efforts Theatre is Iowa's only theatre company the mission of which is to include actors with and without disabilities in dynamic performances. See http://CombinedEfforts.org for map/directions. Email combinedeffortstheatre@gmail.com, or call 337-3201, for reservations or accessibility questions. Tickets at the door: $10 adults; $5 seniors/students; children under 5, free; group rates. July 26 and 27 at 6:30 p.m.
