Iowa City – Riverside Theatre will hold its 22nd annual Diamonds or Denim gala, Friday, February 21, 2014 at the hotelVetro suites & conference center, in the Plaza Towers, 201 S. Linn St., Iowa City. This fundraising event is hosted by the Riverside Theatre Board of Directors. Doors open at 6:00PM, live auction at 7:30PM with music and dancing completing the evening. This dress up or dress down party features appetizers, desserts, an exciting live auction and a silent auction featuring a small collection of exceptional art, ceramics and wine. A raffle drawing offers two prizes, a $500 Visa Gift Card and a Galena Getaway.
Live auction items this year include a Chicago theatre trip, a spa evening, and a wine tasting at your home. All proceeds support Riverside Theatre programming.
Diamonds or Denim event tickets may be purchased in advance by phone at 319-338-7672 or at the door.
Tickets are $55 per person ($45/ticket is tax-deductible).
Tables of 10 may be reserved for $500 ($40/ticket is tax-deductible).
Raffle tickets are available through the Riverside Box office now at 319-338-7672, or at the event. Winners need not be present.
