In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

Adapted from Disney’s 2008 Broadway production, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. features the hit songs "Part of Your World", "Kiss the Girl", "She’s in Love," and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea"!

Coralville - Young Footliters presents The Little Mermaid Jr, opening at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts July 19 at 7 p.m. Additional shows are Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available through the CCPA website

Auditions for The Little Mermaid Jr.

Iowa City - "Auditions for Young Footliter's Production of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. will be held Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th from 1:00-4:00 at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center (Downtown Iowa City).

Performance dates July 19-21, 2013 at The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts.

Please come prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical theatre selection. An accompanist will be provided. We will be casting young people currently in kindergarten through 12th grades. Participation fees will be slightly higher due to extreme costs to produce this musical. All auditioning are required to be enrolled in some sort of acting class. Please note that if you are cast in Shrek this summer, you are still eligible to be in The Little Mermaid Jr."
