Iowa City - [Working Group Theatre is] proud to be partnering with the Englert to present In the Raw. An incubator for new work, In the Raw will feature five plays performed with the audience on the stage. This is theatre that is immediate, engaging, and up close and personal.
The series begins with After Ana, for one night only on Saturday September 13th at 7PM.
Inspired by a true story, After Ana is about a young couple whose car breaks down late one night when they're driving home from a party. Picked up by a passing truck driver, only one of them survives. Part ghost story, party love story, After Ana is about the search for meaning after a random act of violence on the side of the road. After Ana is written by Jennifer Fawcett and directed by Sean Christopher Lewis, featuring Luke Brooks, Cara Clonch Viner, Matthew James, Dorothy Jolly & Aaron Weiner, with original music performed by Michael Finley
Tickets are $10 and available at the Englert box office.
