UTP presents Pillowman

Urban Theatre Project - The Urban Theatre Project, founded in 2005 by current TCR Artistic Director Leslie Chariper, will present The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh. The show opens December 11 in the performance space above Blend Restaurant in downtown Cedar Rapids.

The show is about a writer in an unnamed totalitarian state. He is being interrogated for violent crimes against children as the violence resembles themes in his stories. The play features Jim Kropa, Scott Humeston, Alex Williams, and Eddie Skaggs. It is directed by Jason Alberty.

Readers of this blog may remember that Dreamwell Theatre recently produced the show in Iowa City.
